WAIST: Measure the smallest part of your waist.
HIP: Measure the widest part of your hips.
BUST: Measure the fullest part of your chest.

I'm a petite pear and ordered my normal size and it actually surprisingly fit just fine. These can be dressed up or down, and the fabric is very durable and drapes well.
I bought these pants in the rust color and size 14. I am pear shaped with a 44" hip. I'm also 6'2" with a 37" inseam. The pants are high waisted and cropped. I love the style and variety. They are a bit shorter on me than the model. Most importantly, my butt looks good in these pants.
I was so excited about these pants but felt like they just weren't *quite* right for my body type. I'm 5'10 - 170 - and normally wear a 29 or 8/10 in pants. I ordered the 8 and it fit my waist and length perfectly except the seam in the groin area was a bit lower than normal? Like it fell to maybe a few inches below my panty line and felt uncomfortable. Normally in a pair of pants I want that seam to be right under my panty line. Unfortunately, having it lower meant that the fabric was rubbing along the top of my thighs in a weird way. I'll be returning unfortunately!
Since I'm on the petite side, these hit me below the ankle. I love the weight of these, and the fact that I can throw them in the dryer without worry. One thing- these wrinkle easily, so you may have to steam/ iron them.
