I have been wearing these non-stop at home since I ordered them. I was debating between a small and medium and ordered up, which I am glad I did. The pants are loose but I could easily layer tights underneath for the cold in upstate New York. Very cozy but still feel more put together than pajama pants (but just as comfy!)
These are by far my favorite pair of joggers. They are super soft and comfortable. Even though I'm 5'2, I like the length a lot and the taper is flattering while staying roomy. I have somewhere between a 25-26 inch waist and the XS is perfect in size. Also, I love that the pockets are deep and the ankle cuffs are long.
I am a connoisseur of coziness. The material these joggers are made of is exceptional: soft, warm, lightweight. I used to be a fan of Outdoor Voices' cloudknit joggers, but was appalled when I realized they're basically just made of plastic. These are the ideal alternative. Not only are they more thoughtfully designed than the OV joggers (the pockets are so carefully constructed, the rise is truly high, and the waistband tie is very sturdy), they are also better cut for women with curvy and/or athletic figures. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs, 30"w/42"h/26"thigh, and the large fits me VERY comfortable with room to spare. I definitely could have ordered a medium, but I enjoy the roomy feeling of the large—usually pants are a little tight on me. The photo here was taken after I spent the night in my joggers and you can see the fabric has stretched a little, but in a really nice, comfy way. I ordered the whole capsule, but I might have to order another pair of these joggers as well as the sweatshirt made out of the same fabric. Vetta should totally design a calf-length, long-sleeve, side- or rear-slit travel dress out of this material. Make it ever so slightly fitted at the waist or add chest darts to allow for a bit of figure hugging. I'd love that. Maybe a "roadtrip" capsule??? It may also be time for Vetta to look into making an active wear capsule..
I am so picky about joggers, and these are truly perfect in every way:
1. they are a true high waist (they hit me at my natural waist, above the belly button),
2. they are perfectly drapey but not baggy,
3. they have functional and flattering pockets,
4. they hit just above my ankle bone (not cropped, which doesn’t work for me),
5. they are a true, rich black (not faded/washed),
6. they are ridiculously soft and cozy, and
7. they fit true to size (I’m 5’8, 155 lb, 29” waist, 40” hip, typically a medium and wearing a medium in these).
Yes, these are more expensive than what I usually go for in loungewear, but they are 100% worth it.
I got these in an XS and I am 5'3''/125 lbs. They are super roomy and since I'm on the shorter end, they're very long (as in they cover my lower ribs if they're in full extension. I have been cuffing the legs and folding over the waist and they're better for me that way. But as I don't leave the house much, they're great for lounging at home and the color (the stone blue) is gorgeous. They feel well constructed, sturdy and soft.
